The Manor is a very delightful surprise in the fact that you are just off the main road but totally in the country. Staff, rooms and food were all very good and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Quite a classy setting. Lovey food. The conference room could do with a better insulation to prevent cold.
Really loved the food and the service. Only fell short on a couple of minor issues.No salt & pepper with room service.Heating not working in our room. Although this was remedied very quickly, I feel that this should have been noticed prior to our arrival.
I booked for a special occasion for afternoon tea. I sent a message to the hotel to inform them of my dietary restrictions. They responded and said that they would pass this information on to the chef and would get back to me.They did not get back to me and I sent a further two emails about my dietary restrictions. We turned up. there was no booking in our name, although we were informed that the chef was aware that we were turning up, and that there were some dietary restrictions. Unfortunately the best they could come up with was a ham sandwich and a replacing the scones and cakes with jelly!!!!!!! My 5 year old daughter would have been delighted, but this is not acceptable for a special occasion for an adult. At this point we decided to leave.We have been here before and had good service and allergies catered for. We will not be coming back again.
Great venue this. We've been privileged to be involved in a wedding here. The staff were really accommodating and were on hand to make everyone feel at home.The grounds here are also spectacular and plenty of surrounding for lovely walks and photos. Would recommend.
